Why can't I eat my dinner upstairs?

I am more comfortable eating upstairs only cause I can eat at my own pace with out being rushed and I really don't feel comfortable eating in front of people. I thought mom was ok with it but dad wasn't.I think they just missed me down their cause I used to set the table for them when I was eating upstairs I didn't do that. And then tonight BAM!!! I have to eat downstairs with mom & dad again this totally sucks.
